Just minutes east of Kenora, in the heart of Ontario's Sunset Country, the Cabin at Ladywood Farm is a unique, family-run nature lover's retreat that provides a serene, year-round escape from a hectic world. Pets and children are always welcome.

Located on the north end of a secluded lake, swathed in the picturesque wilderness of Northwestern Ontario, is Ladywood, the 55 acre private wildlife preserve that is our family's celebration of humanity living harmoniously with nature. We have dedicated Ladywood to the appreciation, preservation and proliferation of nature and wild places. It is our family's goal to live in harmony with the natural world and to share our enthusiasm for it with other like-minded individuals.

Once our bustling hobby farm, Ladywood has evolved into a smaller enterprise now that our two daughters have grown and moved on. Today, in addition to maintaining the guest cabin, we follow organic principles in growing potatoes and free range chickens on a small portion of the land, while leaving the majority of the estate in its pristine, wild condition.

Ladywood is about twenty minutes east of Kenora, Ontario. Access is easy from either Highway 17 or 17A, with paved road to the last two kilometers. If you are looking for a cozy, unique vacation site that harkens back to a simpler time but has modern conveniences, we are sure you will be pleased with the log cabin at Ladywood.
